При толкова много силни албуми излезли през тази година, избора да определя кои ще са в десетката в моята класация е все пак трудно начинание. В случая е валидно въздействието което ми оказва слушаната от мен музика и ще се опитам да съм достатъчно ясен, въпреки субективния елемент в цялото нещо. Разбира се, тази класация може да не се припокрива с твоите представи и любима музика за годината. Това е моята гледна точка. Музиката която излиза на пазара е необхватна, така че нямам претенции да обхвана всичко.
Преди всичко, това е моята извадка и класация на албумите които съм слушал, за които съм писал, и които съм представил тук, в блога ми (Be There). Това е моето нещо тази година.

Шегата настрана, "9 Times" е много мрачно и здраво electro и това му е огромния плюс.

Половината от тях са типични Yelawolf истории - закачливи, докосващи. Тук той като че ли изпуска парата и е по-mellow. Въпреки че много хора го свързват с по-твърд hip-hop от сорта на неговите неща от "Trunk Muzik 0-60" ("Pop The Trunk"; "Get The Fuck Up"; "Billy Crystal" (Feat. Rock City)). Този албум трябваше да се случи, друг е въпроса дали точно сега.

Uplift, electro. Uplift, pop rock. Uplift trance. Uplift. Емоционален. Само по себе си това може да е достатъчно, но не, този албум е композиран перфектно. И е един от най-добрите trance албум излизали през последните 5-6 години.
Съвкупност от звезди, Космос, вселени - точно така, усещане за безбрежност. Безкрайна electro приказка, която е все по-вълнуваща с всяко следващо слушане. А BT (Brian Transeau) е голям electro магьосник.

The Best Albums of 2011 (English)

In the presence of many strong albums released this year, choosing to determine which will be in the top ten in my ranking is after all hard work. Добре, Yelawolf е разказвач, вкарва енергия в нещата и истински се радва, заобиколен от обичта на доста хора. А тук Travis Barker е енергия, както винаги впрочем, вглъбен в партиите които изпълнява и даващ верния ритъм. Точно така е и тук за изпълнението на "Let's Roll" (Feat. Kid Rock) в Conan O' Brien Show. Yelawolf е повелителя на емоционалната конструктивност в pop, hip-hop в днешно време, а изглежда така че е показал още много малко от своите възможности. От момента в който чух "Trunk Muzik 0-60" го разбрах, не, изпитах го емоционално. И сега няколко месеца след запознаването ми с музиката му, идва момента в който "Radioactive", чисто новия албум, разтърсва крехката ми hip-hop емоционална страна. Защо ли? Защото Yelawolf е станал по-pop, а от това е спечелила музиката му. И не само това. Той издига нещата си на ново ниво. Ниво в което hip-hop музиката остава и се помни.
Само чуй финалната пиеса "The Last Song" - прочувствено изложение на детските мечти, обръщащ се към родителите си и по-специално бащата, който не го е видял там горе на върха, по кориците на големите списания. Чувства които биха накарали всеки родител, да се чувства завършен и радващ се. Тъжна ретроспекция, а Yela разказва както само той може, до състояние в което може да те разплаче и да почувстваш всеки един звук като отекващ в миналото ти и в най-тънките ти представи за въздействаща мелодия.

From the moment I heard "Trunk Muzik 0-60" I knew it, no, I felt it emotionally. Yelawolf е от онези заразителни рап изпълнители, които умеят да увличат, да разказват и са като риба в Океана, т.е. в свои води. Бързо набиращ популярност и изнасящ запомнящи се шоута. Рапъра от Gadsden, Alabama, USA, истинското име на който е Michael Wayne Atha, докарва до екстаз феновете си със заразителни, запомнящи се crunk, hip-hop мелодии и тежки рими, граничещи с гротеска и сатира, а в другия случай са откровени prank закачки. Барабанистът вилнеещ в пънк шайката Transplants, редом с Tim Armstrong от Rancid, още в Blink 182, съосновател на ска-пънк бандата The Aquabats, още в алтернатив рок проекта +44 с Mark Hoppus /Blink 182/. Изкарва албум от 16 трака, пълен с гост участия на повечето актуални рап, crunk-hop величия от Щатите. Винаги са ме радвали, добре подбраните рими, съчетани с тежък бийт и яки барабани. Разграничавам бийта от "живите" барабани, да.
Още с отварящата "Can A Drummer Get Some" (Feat. Game, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz) ме удря с всички тези съставки, който карат да се чувстваш леко генгста, ха-ха.
Ще се опитам да отлича върховете за мен тук в тези 16 парчета от deluxe версията на албума, стандартната версия на CD-то е с 12 парчета.
