Playlist for a last couple of weeks - Part 2 (English)

This is my playlist for the last few weeks. Here things are not arranged in numbers and importance, all the songs have their place in my mind. Have touched me, are interesting and deserve more than one listening. This is not a ranking. See and also might like something. Here are the songs:

Digits - "Warrant For Your Love" (Feat. Rebecca Applebaum) - Future disco, EBM, Depeche Mode on tranquilizers, but rhythmic, and voice of Rebecca which is not such, well, close to Kate Bush with a melancholic timbre. Chart buster, heh-heh.

Digits - "Nonstop" - This track closing the album "Hold It Close" from 2009. Slow, slow new wave, electro beauty at the beginning and "jumping" in the middle with a playful rhythm. But the voice of Alt Altman is slooow, electroclashy and hypnotic as a color sundae complete with neon lights. Slooow, blurry, slooow, but very good performance.

Cilla Jane - "Pot Of Gold" - Positive roots rock song from her album "Until Morning Comes" filled with gems, like this actually. Timeless beauty, collected in two and a half minutes. What more could you want.

Here are some live performances from Cilla Jane, as "Pot Of Gold" has no video yet.

17F - "Angel" - Again, still in search of a true angel. Great. No one else such song elsewhere.

Since the "Angel" of 17F has no video yet, see their profile in SoundCloud.

Cilla Jane - "Tumbling" - Stories told from the eyes of a bird flying to the south, a children's fairy and delicate. Whips me softly with his quiet sadness. Guitar, voice and keyboards, together with the beauty and skill. Cilla Jane and musicians of the band are great. Album is just must.

An Horse - "Dressed Sharply" - The opening album "Walls" - as well snarling, as well melodic, yet adrenaline indie rock, alternative rock composition. The whole album is a diamond. Hear it if you do not believe. Explanations are unnecessary. "I read, I read. I read, I read. A yellow shirt and a blue jacket." Who said that yellow is not fashionable, or only at Coldplay. An Horse and I do not agree. My yellow jacket Adidas is still my favorite.

Waltari & Angelit - "Traveller" - Anything from Tiamat, but with very melodic female vocals from Angelit in the chorus. Slightly vocoded male vocals and infectious bass line during the rest time. New wave, gothic, but not exactly. Trip with riffs, electro, melody. This thing is sweetly, the chorus I can turn ciclophrenic all day long, and I will not have tired of it. Oh, and there are keyboards like of old electronic game.

Danny Diablo Vs. The Vendetta - "Snow White" (Feat. Ceekay Jones) - This performance is in my rotation of long time. I still grabbed by it at the moment when I heard the angry, filled with bangin rage and truth smashing vocals of Danny Diablo (also vocals in Skarhead - hardcore fighters). Here he makes the song were featuring some hip-hop artist. It's rhythmically, infectious hardcore, hip-hop performance for the pain of realizing that the "infusions" are tempting, but of their use you only lose. Stop the madness. Yes, "Temptation is a bitch, so i don't trust" - screamed by Danny should make the biggest junkie to stop the bad habit and move forward. Because as said Norman Mailer - "Every time a stupid little bastard gets little clever, this is a smash for the Devil", you know, right. And more from Danny - "We live the wrong life. Demonstrate my style - drugs, money, sex now." How much truth there is in this land, to paraphrase the popular poet. Strong.

Forbidden Society - "Hard VIP" (Feat. Aneta Galisova) - Very adrenaline and energetic drum 'n' bass punch. No, the voice of Aneta Galisova, not "unctuous", "slushy" or tender, it is just the right ammunition for this "weapon". And it is exactly as it should be. Point. Adrenaline puncture for slow conditions. Totally condemned and much more in the same line of thought.

David Bazan - "Virginia" - A story of friendship, slightly sad, sung with a sense of days gone by, and a guitar, which marked trails in my mind with notes. Path which I walk every day, when I search myself, and in such beautiful songs, I find myself and listen to the lines: "We were worried about your personal salvation. Was it heaven or hell that you saw when your eyes closed? You smilled at us floating high above the question. Like you knew something we didn't know." I want to crying. Incredible story. I cry. There are days and feels that it is worth recapture. This song calls them all of them in my mind. And after all I feel lightness in the text: "Singing "Pictures Of You", crashing cars, skipping school. We drove all over town as the days blurred around us. We wore out your cassettes, we were nobody's fools."
Divine. Urban. History. So close and at the same time show that things and people we love are here for a while, and if we truly love them, must grip them in our arms. This song can make you cry, look into it. David Bazan is one of the true, dedicated artists of our time, in which I believe.

VAST - "You" - A song about the days when I try to get together, to find peace, to fly, to forget everything, to want, to be everywhere. Heavenly song. Everything is discovered by consciousness. To understand yourself, this sometimes is painful. It hurts.

David Bazan - "Strange Negotiations" - With the whole line it makes magic. Things like: "Any minute you'll go on to your reward. Someone else is gonna make the call", "You find the lowest prices every day. But would you look at everything that we've lost" and "You kick and scream to get your way again. But the writing is on the wall", it's no way for me to be untouched. Exciting, raging at me these words. And all sung on a slow folk rock tune, garnished with urban aesthetics and attitudes.

Death Cab For Cutie - "You Are A Tourist" - I wander like a tourist on a musical scale, and it is strew with items that make me feel real and touched by great music. For a part of the line: "And if you feel like a tourist in your hometown, than it's time to go ", nothing more to add, except - Truth.

Death Cab For Cutie - "St. Peter's Cathedral" - An epic, timeless, otherworldly, divine, heartfelt, crying, something that always was and now is displayed in full brilliance, a song that never gets old, because it's outside the timeframes. Death Cab For Cutie touch to perfection. Let we wish they do this more often.

Video is with the lines of the song, I post it this, because the lines and the song are grandeur. Think about it. SUPERB.

It is for this part. Until next time.
