От известно време това е песента. Версията която правят Sonic Youth е някак малко по-мрачна, вглъбена, от оригиналната на великия, неповторимия (да, правилно си прочел) Bob Dylan. Перфектна композиция, просто не иска да излезе от главата ми, а не съм сигурен, че и аз искам да я пусна да си отиде. Защо пък, да не я оставя да "порасте", какво по-хубаво от това една композиция да стане част от теб, някак си, ей така, от само себе си, от раз, без да те пита. Мисля че се сещаш, за какво става въпрос - истинските неща остават истински, завинаги, и понякога се завръщат да те докоснат, защото имаш нужда от тях. А това определено ме докосна, засега предпочитам тази версия, някак си има лека носталгия, и ми е необходима. До скоро. I'm still not there.

Brazilian IDM, glitch, trip-hop, as you called it, still be true, electro master Amon Tobin make four song EP', which sounds like... Amon Tobin. His tendency to release EP's or mini albums, is there again, and I admit, he made a good mini albums.
Schizophrenic with noise, synthesizers blips and subversive, oppressive atmosphere, in which even Boards Of Canada would be envy and asked for in the title "Surge". Two-minute "sick" IDM aesthetics with light 8bit electronics, and sounds like a house full of ghosts on tranquillizers.
The second "Surge" (Two Fingers Remix) keeps schizophrenic nature, but this electro happens onto trip-hop basis, and "ghosts" seemed enliven and dancing eating ice cream, ha-ha. Two Fingers are Amon Tobin and Joe "Doubleclick" Chapman.
Strange sounding, but it is still Amon Tobin - the king of sophisticated darkness in electro music. In this composition you can still feel - decayed dub beats and retro 8bit arcade sound for background.

Бразилския IDM, glitch, trip-hop, както искаш го наречи, все ще е вярно, electro майстор Amon Tobin прави четири песенно EP', което звучи като... Amon Tobin. Слабостта му да издава EP'-та или мини албуми, отново е налице, и признавам, той прави добри мини албуми.
Шизофренично с noise, клавирни блипкания и подмолна, тягостна атмосфера, на която дори Boards Of Canada биха завидели и поискали в заглавната "Surge". Двуминутна "болна" IDM естетика с лека 8bit електроника, и звуци като от къща пълна с духове на транквиланти.
Втората "Surge" (Two Fingers Remix) запазва шизофреничната същност, но electro-то се случва върху trip-hop основа, а "духовете" сякаш се освестяват и танцуват ядейки сладолед, ха-ха. Two Fingers са Amon Tobin и Joe "Doubleclick" Chapman.
Странно звучене, но това все пак е Amon Tobin - царя на изискания мрак в electro музиката. В тази композиция още може да усетиш - разложен dub бийт и ретро 8bit аркаден звук за фон.

Jay-Jay Johanson is born in Trollhatton, Sweden in 1969. His music is melancholic, sometimes, other times happy-ironic. Accepted is in itself the things of Nick Drake and Nick Cave, a mixture mixed with beautiful piano melodies and miniatures. Do not doubt, that this album has them these defining his music components. The lyrics are heavy - for the general human anguish, love, loneliness. Look at some songs titles from his new double album "Spellbound" - "Shadows"; "The Girl I Love Is Gone"; "Out Of Focus"; "She Doesn't Live Here Anymore"; "Suicide Is Painless"; "The Thrill Is Gone"; "My Mothers Grave"; "She's Mine But I'm Not Hers"; "I'm Older Now" - which directly refer to minor thoughts, and although their names they are among the best songs in the album. The album is double, as I mentioned, the second disc is called "Looking Glass (New Acoustic Versions)", and as understood by its name, contains mostly acoustic pieces.
There are stunning acoustic guitars, beautiful piano, which attracts your soul with each every chord. Feels also light jazz atmosphere, plus great music-making, that can not go unnoticed. And in "Blind" is almost surely, that you can mess up and you wonder, whether Nick Drake is resurrected and reincarnated in Jay-Jay Johanson.

The initial song from new album of Farewell Continental, which is named "Seasoned Veterans" with nothing to give a hint of energetic music happening in the remaining 13 compositions. Yes, they are pleasant, energetic, melodic alternative rock, indie rock, even britpop feel in it (besides sounds good, not just copied) and the vocals of the singer and keyboardist Kari Gray and Justin Pierre (also vocals and guitar in Motion City Soundtrack) sounded so that make melody inevitable and desirable.
